Best fans in reasonable price range?

They might be ok but they have a high RPM.

My case fans all spin at 800rpm to keep things quiet. My CPU cooler is a different matter as it has a job to do and it spins at 1300RPM (Noctua NF-P12).

Actually, just thinking, couldn't I just get an 1850 rpm typhoon and run them at the speed I like off a fan controller?

I looked at the Antec Tri-Cool and apparently they are quite loud when under pressure.

edit: I'll probably pick those akasa fans for my 2 140mm fans, thanks.

aah, really confused as for what to do. I need 6 fans, and I don't want to spend stupid amounts, but don't want to skimp on quality. Maybe i could get two of the Asaka 140mm, two quality Scythe 120mm, and then 2 lower end fans, like the Antecs?

Why would you possibly need 6 fans? Just because your case allows you to fit ********* in it? Well, my wallet surely allows me to take a couple of thousands of pounds with me every day. But do I do it? Would you?

Just get two good fans - one sucking the air in at the front and one blowing it out at the back. Or vice versa, just make sure it is in line with your CPU and PSU fans. My last PC (Athlon II x2 250 @ 3.6 Ghz, HD 4870 overclocked) has been cooled entirely by the psu fan and two 800rpm slip streams which have been controlled by the motherboard and barely reached 500 rpm in normal use.
