For fast and properly competitive FPSs you have to go back to mid 00s or earlier. No one really makes them like that any more. They try to, but fail (like Overwatch).
UT4 (not on Steam) is one but it's basically a remake of UT99. Which is a good thing if you want this kind of game.

I have just installed ironsite as I seen someone mention it on here, its a wicked game! and free! better than ALL modern cods and feels like oldschool cod, played an hr so far and absolutely LOVE it, not on steam but I would recommend it
I enjoyed them both. Hopefully they'll announce a Titanfall 3 and not release if a week after CoD and a week before Battlefield this time!

The Titanfall 2 single player campaign is awesome though.

yes titanfall 3 will happen then EA will probably get rid of it knowing them.the thing about titanfall 1 it was so new and a great idea and worked competitive.then they noobed it down for the masses.thats what killed it for me. was one of the best games i played.
