MyDefragPowerGUI (JKDefragGUI successor) is the best available. So much faster and more efficient than anything else I've used.

I use Defraggler. It may not be the best but the interface is the best one for me. MyDefrag looks to be much better technically but I find the interface just too hardcore.

TBH They all do the same thing and that's to defrag your HDD so that it is no longer fragmented.

Windows built in one is very good on 7, it does multiple passes as well and consolidates free space when needed.

Just use that to avoid confusion amongst all the others out there that do the same thing.

With MyDefrag you pretty much just run it and press go, use a pre-set option i.e. daily/weekly/monthly

I never did understand what all the scripts were for. I just got confusled. :confused:

The inbuilt Windows defragger running as intended (on a schedule, as a background task) is all you need.
