Best free registry cleaner?

What is the best free registry cleaner?

I don't really feel like paying for one unless it is really worth it.

Ccleaner has one built in, and I've never had problems with it.

CCleaner totally screwed up my registry but saved a backup of what it did, so...

CCleaner +1!
ALthough I'll never use it again.

And paying for software is never worth it

Another RegSeeker user here. Have used it for over a year now and I've never had to resort to using the back up it creates.

I got regseeker to scan for corrupt files and it deleted about 700 iirc, and when I next went to boot up my computer it said that some vital files were missing or something.. :confused:

Haven't ever bothered downloading any software since.

Thanks. I have downloaded and used both of them. I have used CCleaner before and thought it was very good, but wanted your opinion first.

I've used TweakNow reg cleaner for years on many Pc's without any problems and it really does it's job .But I found a new one the other day and I have on a few PC's already and I think it's better .It's called Wise Registry Cleaner and it seems to find a lot more things .

Regseeker to clean the registry, CCleaner to clean the HDD

That is my preferred combination

i use the free Microsoft online scanner, it picked up 300! registry items that CCleaner didn't detect

Microsofts new online scan is a good one. The link Posty..Posted takes you there.

But I usually use CCleaner
