Best Freesync gaming monitors with thin bezels for eyefinity?

Well Samsung have some 4K Freesync screens out, not sure about the bezels though. With QuadFire Fury-X's you might be able to just about get playable framerates with low settings but you'll probably hit the 4GB VRAM limit hard. Quad Titan-Xs would possibly fare better but still wouldn't be great.
Three 1440p screens is probably the max at the moment but even that is going to take a fair bit of gpu power (3/4 cards) to get good frame rates at decent settings.

Hi guys, cheers for the replies.

This isn't for any current generation of cards, this won't be my setup until next year at the earliest I'm just getting a bit of research in by getting a feel for what's about now.

I actually found a microsoft tech demo on a 7970 (single card) running 3x4k eyefinity running dirt 3 I think it was so I'm fairly confident it's more of a possibility at the moment. At the time it was limited to 30hz but they could kind of hack the resolution settings to get 60hz.

One thing I did realise while looking at this is that most, maybe all(?) 4k displays are limited to 60hz, I really wanted to go up to 120ish this time around, so that's a disappointment to me. I'm confident of getting those frame rates with the games I play at 3x4k after what I've been reading over now.

4k in 24" was also a nice surprise as I was unsure of the logistics of 3 monitors bigger than that, but ideally 28"ish, yet to get my tape measure out :D

Ah well if you're looking to play older games then yeah the gpu requirements will come down but I still think you'll need to be looking at multiple cards.
Yeah at the moment all the 4K monitors are 60Hz, you'll need either DisplayPort or HDMI 2.0 to get that and currently no AMD cards support HDMI 2.0.

Although the current top cards are being marketed as suitable for 4K none of them are really quite there yet but the suggestion is that the true next gen cards with a process shrink should be a big step up and will hopefully be the generation that 4K really becomes a reality. Should tie up nicely for you buying stuff next year :)

Exactly what I'm hoping! I don't have the full budget until then so I'm plodding along this year with the fairly uninteresting upgrades, new HDDs, new headset etc. Next year I'm looking at this monitor and gfx upgrades, which will include a crossfire setup if needed, I am expecting 8gb HBM cards at this point so we will see. Also a case/cpu/mobo/ram upgrade to come in at some point probably before the gfx but I really want to look at Zen so this could push me back to the beginning of 2017 (ugg..). Lot's of time to play around with specification and budget in the meantime :D

The bezels are a big thing though but still have to look at the differences between TN and IPPS is it? Gah, acronyms, acronyms everywhere!
