The only intro to make me restart a game so i could watch it again (and again) was...

The amiga had never produced gfx like it before this!

Sonic CD Intro... because it was a) friggin' unexpected, and b) because it was just like the cartoon which I watched growing up.

another vote for Final Fantasy VII Id waited so long for it.....but the PS3 tech demo version would have been even more incredible if I hadnt seen the original. If that makes sense.

Dawn of war was amazing.
But Blizzard have been doing amazing intros for quite some time.
Diablo 2 and LOD were the first OMG CGI intro/cutscenes.
WoW and TBC both have very nice vids as well.

Original BF Intro, Sitting back watching that video I knew the game had what I wanted, Still play the game to this day & often kick back & watch the Intro just for the sheer hell of it :cool:

Yeah, although gameplay is rough going..I got stuck on the training mission attacking a destroyer (considering it constantly spits out homing mines its tricky).

holy **** i totally forgot I-War, that was AWESOME game, never did complete it, I-war 2 is pretty good too, has some cool cutscenes, the escape from the prison and stuff! another game i loved the intro, mechwarrior 3, that was immense! shame mechwarrior seems dead now
