It also has that hollywood feel to it with music , and comments you can hear "we getting wasted" BF2 for the win, yes fanboy alert
 
I nominate the Bioshock intro, (like the half life one my jaw dropped) also that scene with the splicer outside the lift...

I thought the bioshock intro was pretty poor to look at to be honest. I'm sure they could have done much better than that with the gfx available.

Are you kidding? It used the latest DX10. I played it on DX9 full settings and it looked amazing.

Even the above youtube video looks fantastic!

I have to agree as it follows on directly from the ending movie of Descent 2
. I was kinda sad when I played Decent 3 for the first time as that ship was the one you'd had right from the start of Descent 1.

I had loads of favourite intros, but then when I played that Bioshock demo my jaw hit the floor and that is now my favourite, it's just so fantastic and introduces you to Rapture and the atmosphere instantly. First one since FFVII that has had me hooked straight from the off.

I'm not kidding i'm afraid. After it's crashed and you're in the water with the fire, that looks nice. Just the cinematic seems to me to be without atmosphere. :/
 
forgot an intro that stuck with me since the first time i played it, metal gear solid 2: sons of liberty, that was one of the greatest games i have ever played, the intro is equally brilliant
