Best Gaming ISP? No Cable

Finally Im getting my MAC code from Virgin ADSL. Anyway Im looking for an ISP that will give me good pings any time of day. I dont download very much but I have played 124.4 hrs past 2 weeks.

I want a fast reliable service. Max per Month I will pay is £25. I can't get BE in my area either.

Any help would be greatly apprieated.
 
Well 2 weeks ago i was in the same boat and again like you couldn't get BE / 02.

I was then advised to look in the direction of the entanet sellers ...... so i did :)

I went to ADSL24 for a 8mb connection a 30gb peak / 300gb off peak download limit, 1 month contract and an excellent quality of service. peak hours are 8am-10pm monday to Friday and weekends are off peak.

I went from AOL and this is the different in the ping.

In BF2 used to get a ping of 45-50 with AOL on our UK server and when i moved to ADSL24 it droppped to 30. In the control panel it gives you an option to turn of interleaving, after doing this now my ping average from 15-20, also in cod i have gone from a 50-60 to 30-35 ping.

All that for £19.99 a month....do it sign today!

Note that all the entanet sellers have the same prices / packages but some offer little extras, for example the control panel with ADSL24 lets you look at your download usage, turn interleaving on / off, install status, request a mac code and loads more.

Ooh. I came on here to make a post but it would have been the same as I have identical requirements. I've never heard of ADSL24 but will take a look as well.
 
Can you explain who entanet are, and what the entanet resellers are? Who is providing the service? Are all the different ones just essentially providing the same service on behalf of entanet. I don’t really understand?

yup. entanet don't sell consumer adsl so you have to go through a reseller. the connection will be identical. most even let enta sort the billing as well. i guess the resellers just get a commission. :)
 
yup pretty much that from when i asked the same question ages ago they basically resell entas broadband and they do all cmr support ect ect and they earn a commision per customer.

Yes that is what the Reseller does is resell the product of Enternet ,and give it there own brand name ,but they are all really one large company , as said on here before all that is different is the extras u get with each reseller :)
