Pkiely said:Honestly, for gaming, you really want to go with a high performence cloth mat. Cloth mats are pretty much the best thing for mouse precision, smoothness but with very unique control.
So you should be looking at either..
Everglide Titan
QPad
Qpad CT *
* The CT is a cloth pad but has a sort of hybrid plastic/cloth finish on the top, this is the only type of mousepad I'v yet to test and can't confirm if it's better / worse etc. My friends tell me its damn great.
Personally I'm using the everglide titan, it's huge at the standard size and I only use a 1/4 of it, can't praise it enough. The amount of plastic/metal pads I'v gone through is a lot, this cloth stuff doesn't show signs of wear.

MuSsEr said:(no, I'm not hugely fat and sweaty, it would be the same for anyone who gamed hard and regularly used their mouse)
Well thats a problem with the Microsoft Habu not the mousemat, if the problem wasnt fixed with a driver I would have e-mailed them explaining the compatability problem, if people dont mention these problems in the 1st place to the manufacturers then nothing will ever get done.snazzy_dazzy said:I got a HABUnot a logitech.
Its the biggest load of **** going
and to one of the above posters, the bottom of my habu is also wearing away. Very annoying even though I have used the teflon feet
