Best Gaming Mouse Under A £40 Budget

Woooo - Go Deathadder.

If your budget is 21 pounds then MX518 all the way but with that budget,Deathadder just wins

Ehhh, I hear far more stories about Deathadders going bad than MX518's, particularly with the double click issue. Even if the MX518 does break, Logitech have brilliant customer service, not sure about Razers, but I will bet it is not as good as Logitech ;)

Also, the MX518 is almost half the price and it is generally considered that it is on par with or slightly better/worse than the MX518. Guess if you have the money though, why not?

Never been let down by mine, but I suppose i have never used a MX518.
Will order one with my next build and let people know my opinion :)

Personally I bought MX518 a while ago, but hated the punctured look so didn't even take it out the packet and sold it on. Have a Razer Deathadder now and really happy with it.

I've been using a G5 for years and is quite happy with it. Its discontinued now and has been succeeded by the G500.

I got so used to the weight and feel of the MX1000 that Razer mice feel too light and plasticy. Plus I don't like how the Razers are flat across the top as its unnatural to twist your wrist a few degrees inwards, the ergonomic feel of the Logitechs (most are right-handed though) makes gaming all night far more comfortable.

I'll add my 2p.

I owned 3 Razers because they looked cool.

All 3 broke. Bought a Logitech G5. That broke too. But it's certainly lasted longer. :D

ROFL what the hell you do with those mice .... throw them to get the speed? :D

They all had faulty cable connections, where the cable joins the mouse body. They were returned and replaced each time with the same problem. Haven't had one since.

...what are unicorn cars now that you've said it?

There are three cars in the game, a Subaru Impreza S204, a Mazda RX-7 Spirit Type-R and a Chevrolet Camaro SS Coupe. The only way to obtain the cars is to either win one of the developer sponsored competition or buy it from the developer in the in-game auction house, although the auctions of unicorn cars are rare. To buy a similar Subaru in-game you're looking at about thirty thousand credits give or take... for the s204 unicorn Subaru, you're looking at the thick end of ten mil.

ive had a logitech wiresss mouse for about 5 years now and it hasnt let me down! i must have changed the batteries only once a year. despite the huge wireless adaptor that came with it, i find logitech very good and reliable :).

Cooler Master Sentinel has problems for me, skipping curser movement on a few different surfaces, will RMA it me thinks.

Search for a Copperhead replacement continues.
