best gaming mouse ?

G7.

Simply the best mouse I've ever seen or used.
You WILL NOT be able to tell its wireless, except the fact there's no wire. 0_o

Light, always have battery - Tracking is second to none...

I used a 6 month old Razor at a LAN for a while (can't remember which model).
G7 kicks it up and down the park. Although different sizes of hands find different mice better.

Any of the G series should do you well.

G7 = suck

If ure playing games, the battery runs out u swap it over, takes upto 5 seconds to swap over seen it done at lans ;)

G5 ***!! amazing mouse and u can set the DPI to ure liking with the software!

What is the Creative Fatal1ty 1100 mouse like? I was thinking of either getting that or the Razer Plasma Diamondback.

My current however, is one of the best I've ever seen. It's 100dpi will send you flying on the battlefield. People will call you a hax0r it's so fast!

In all it's glory:

Saw the fatal1ty mouse @ lan when he came and played Quake 4. It looks weird but im sure with any mouse u have to get used to it.

Razer diamondback again are weird u need long fingers as its a odd shape, again Logitech *** :D

Are the Razers still really terrible for really low sensitivity players?
The last one I had was the Viper... Never again.

I think im with clown on this one..... to answer your question clown my Razor sense is all over the place and I can't seem to find the right one. Im a low sense player myself and it really is quite poor come to think of it.

I purchased a Razor Copperhead when they first came out. There were initial problems such as firmware and patches that needed to be applied to make the mouse work properly.

After about 6 months of mild-heavy usage the paint or laquer on the main buttons had started to chip of. The pics will explain this....
The rubber on the outside had also started to tear away from the mouse. At first I thought that this was just becuase it was new, however the rubber just started to come away from it! For a £40odd quid mouse, this shouldn't happen.

I have managed to live with the problem but im thinking of going back to my trusty MX510 or purchase the new G5?

I haven't really searched around for the same kind of problems im experincing so they may have now sorted this but for me its put me off Razor products forever!

I've got a Razer Copperhead on one machine and a Diamondback on the other, both on IceMats.

OTF sensitivity adjustment is great, and goes right from super slow and precise to super fast and precise.

Copperhead uses exactly the same laser as the Logitech G5/G7, so it's all down to personal preference (or if you're left handed).

I've had my mouse a similar length of time (since about 1 month after release) and it's been well used - FYI I don't have this problem.

I used to use an Intellimouse 3.0, but now I have a Microsoft Laser 6000.

The 6000 is very responsive, and the precision booster is great for headshots :)

I've got an MX518 and fully recommend it, best mouse I've ever used (myself and others). Can't comment on other mouses you have listed, but you won't be disappointed with the 518.
