Best graphics card for a 450w psu

Hi There,

I have a small form watercooled system mainily for watching films which i use a the integrated i3 processor for but wanted a gpu with more power and to use for media encoding and light gaming. Question iswhat is the best gpu i can get that will run on the 450w psu. I would also consider putting the gpu under water as well.

Rest of system spec:

i3
4gb ram
laing ddc 10w pump
40gb ssd
case is a lian li Q08

Recently fitted a single slot 5770 to my sons box. Running a 450w Tagan PSU. No problems; pleased with performance - certainly a big improvement over the 8800gt it replaced
Cost me about £75 and if you can find it for this price would have no hesitation in recommending.
Problem is ,it appears, finding it. Good luck.

6850/70 are the next gen versions of the 5750/70, so if a 5770 is fine, a 6870 should be, especially with AMD's emphasis on keeping power usage under control (at the non-high end anyway).

Its a silverstone 450w sfx psu i used to run a 5850 of it, used to have a 2 5770 and it was a great card
