Best graphics card for around £200

I'm thinking with the greater power requirements of the 470, it's probably best to go along the 6870 route with my current PSU, which is adequate for 1 GPU. The extra I pay for the ATI will probably be saved on my electric bill after about a year ;)
Wise choice if power consumption is a concern. Just a shame the 6870's aren't £176 like they were at launch (on pre-order of course).

Well i have a 470 and it's a great card, however the box states a 550W PSU requirement, which is right on what you have, so not much headroom, there.

From what i have heard the 6870 is rated as a good card and uses less power, which in most circumstances would be pretty irrelevant for most people (I asked the power question a while back and you might save £10 a year!), however in this case seeing as your PSU is rated at the bare minimium required for a 470 i would get a 6870 and play it safe

Personally, I would take a 6870 over a 470 because it is a later release, with all things being almost equal between them...

Ok, am going for a 6870 it's decided. I can get the XFX 6870 Black Edition for a good price, is this the "out of the box" overclocked card?

And, will it fit in a CM Storm Scout case? I have about 6cm gap between the ATX mobo and HD cage
