Best graphics card for under £200

hey whats the best graphics card for under £200 ? ive been looking at the gtx 660 msi twin fozr version... it needs to work with a 450w power supply also

The 660 is the only card closely under £200 from nVidia and this matches a 7850 (roughly). The 7870 and 7870XT are on the tier above the 660.

I currently use a GTX660ti, got it for just under £200.

Afaik one of the best cards for a budget is a 7850, if the GTX560ti came down to the £130 range it would be awesome, in fact might be not checked in a while.

I have had the GTX560, liked it until I seen the GTX660 released at more or less the same price so got my money back while I could.

EDIT: a 7850 is considerable cheaper than both

I wish I waited before jumping on the 660ti Seems like the AMD cards are just cheaper, clock better and over all more cost effective :

I so envy that you all can get XT's so cheap. Here they are $40 more than a 7870 and only $15 less than a plain ref 7950 and can be xfired with any Tahiti based GPU. Good deal there.

EDIT: As for the 450 thats a little to rich for my blood personally it would have to be a really high end PSU that was under rated for me to risk it. PSU's are not something to gamble with as it could very well take out multiple things in the comp if you stress it to much and it pops. Even a 7850 calls for a min 500w on paper.

The 78## series cards are about the same power consumption as the GTX 660/ti.

If your 450w PSU is a good one it should be ok.

AMD Drivers are not confusing, pretty straight forward...

@ Tonester0011, GTX 660 vs 7850 = GTX 660 a little faster at stock with the 7850 very much underclocked to start with, GTX 660TI vs 7870 about the same @ stock with the GTX 660TI perhaps a slight lead, 7870 XT vs GTX 660TI = 7870 XT faster
