That Tresseme stuff isnt a true hairspray in the same mold as Silvikrin, Elnett etc. The only male hairspray I know off is Falcon. Comes in a nice black tin and has two or three variants; ultra hold, firm hold, the normal.

The other spray that you used to be able to get (havent seen it for nearly 10 years) is Mane. It was a hairspray which not only held hair in place, but came in different colours so that men with thinner hair or a receding hairline could bulk out or colour in. Gents would travel miles to get the stuff.

I use Matrix Air Trix hairspray, tis well good. Two thumbs up from me.

Is this like... ugly geek vs. good looking geek? :p

Are you sure? Note the way you refer to yourself as a "guy" rather than a MAN! He's a guy, one of the boys. How cuddly, how informal, how...feminine. :p
OMG he found out my secret, must hide! :p

P.S. Deadly Ferret I have an empty house tomorrow night you wanna come over? Me and the BOYS are having a nice night in ;) :p

If you're vain enough to use gel or wax, then you're vain enough to use hairspray.

Exactly, some of the replies in this thread reek of immaturity. I do find it funny but some people actually believe these things so it's worth pointing out that beyond comedy it's just a social stigma.

I've never used hairspray, I started off with gel which I soon realised was the worst thing to use for my hair type so I use a sort of jelly wax now. Only problem is although it helps keep my hair styled to at least some degree (although only lasts 2-3 hours!), my hair dries out way to quickly. I'm considering looking for a hair moisturising spray so this doesn't happen.
