Best hard drive?

In the market for a new hard drive (2TB+) that will be used for my growing steam folder (Stupid sales

)
Any recommendations? I'd prefer a quick quiet drive at around a £90 budget. 7200rpm preferably? Also are the green drives as bad as I've heard they are? Because I want a drive that has a low failure rate.

The biggest complaint people make about green drives is the fact they seem to take longer than a normal drive to spin back up to speed since they slow down to conserve energy but for games it should be fine.

the non treehugging hdd is 5 quid more expensive and personally it would be what i'd go for, other opinions may differ

Not the biggest fan of the WD Green's, so would personally avoid them.

My thoughts exactly ;D... But on a serious note Has anyone found a drive that is very reliable? Because I really don't want to lose data in the future

Western Digital. The answer is always WD.

Wow finding a good hard drive seems to be quite a long task

Ive decided I'll just go for the seagate barracuda 2tb 7200rpm or does anyone have a better suggestion?
