hey guys i have just installed a new HDD into my system and im goin to format and reinstall windows.

I have:
160gb
500gb
500gb

i just want to know what will be the best way to set them up for my programs, games, media and other things like drivers, installs and my docs.

thanks!

I would do something along the lines of

160Gb - Split it 100/60Gb and stick Apps/Docs on then OS on the other.
500Gb - Games
500Gb - Split it 250/250Gb and stick Downloads/Installs on and then Music and Videos and Page File on the other.

use the 160 100 for apps/docs and the other 60gb for the windows install??
500gb games storage
500gb split and again storage??

i have been thinking i could partition the 160 80/80 os/programs then the 2nd drive (500gb) ghost image of the 160 as a backup + storage the 3rd drive (500gb) all storage. how does that sound??

Sounds alright to me. But I wouldn't do a 50/50 split of the 160Gb, as the OS won't need 80Gb. Programs will take up more space. For info, I have a 64Gb Raptor as my OS/Data drive and with all my apps on I've only used 30Gb (including the OS).

So maybes split the 160 more in favour for programs and less to the OS. :)
