Hello,
I currently have two rooms.
In one room, I have my main desktop PC (with all my storage saved on the HDD) connected via ethernet to my router.
In my second room, I have a cinema room with networked/dlna appliances like an Oppo BDP-93 and a Yamaha RX-V3067 AV receiver both connected to my routher via ethernet too.
I've used a program called Serviio which I can access on my Oppo blu-ray player which finds my main desktop PC and allows me to play pretty much any file over the network. The problem I'm having is that most of my movies are in structured blu-ray folders (Movie>BDMV>Stream) and the Serviio streamer does display all the files within the stream folder but I'm not sure which is the master (movie) file as it will list all the files that are in the STREAM folder which usually will be around 50 files. Neither does it display the file size to help identify the movie file.
Normally when I plug in an external HDD directly to the Oppo via USB, as I soon as I click on the BDMV folder, the movie starts playing automatically.
What media server will I need to enable the similar playback feature of the Oppo so it can play the movie straight from the root BDMV folder?
I've also tried XBMC but that's worse in that it will only find and play MKV files.
The BDMV>STREAM folder is empty in XBMC so I'm assuming its not recognising the the ISO/BDMV files.
Any help here at all will be greatly appreciated
Cheers
