you can get white ones now as well! :o I'd so get a white one if i could
Nah, the white ones have red bits at the bottom and look stupid :)

(Normally I love white stuff - I heart Apple - but for some reason I don't like the white version of the Samsung)

One of the large problems with the Tosh WLT66 for me is that the majority of sets buzz at certain brightness settings and that's not something I would ever put up with.

Not something that I have encountered
Given a budget of £650 and the choice between the LG, Sammy and Tosh in that price range I think the Tosh is the better picture. I think the Sammy is the sexiest to look at. I did not find the LG appealed to me at all. Prices were within £20 of eachother so it isn't a financial thing it is which looked best overall on the day. The Tosh picture did seem better to me than the rest by a decent margin though.

Not everyone has it on their set and not everyone notices even if they do have it.

I chose the LG for it's fantastic XD3 engine, 2 HDMI ports, ability to turn off all overscan and PC connectivity @ 1360*768 1:1 mapping via VGA and DVI as well as it's large range of adjustable features.

Like I said we all have different tastes and the only way to decide is to view and test the models that are potential purchases. This is the type of thing where you'd have to be pretty dim to just go out and buy one without ever seeing it working.

You can get the 66 in the high street for £645. It is an excellent TV and I chose it after comparing it to the 32 r74sammy and the LG.

What Hifi Sound and Vision (January 2007) have a feature on 32" LCD's this month. They gave the 66 5 stars back in July but there are better 32" out now albeit at 2x the price. If memory serves me right they gave the award to a 32" Philips at around £1200 this month.

The trouble with that mag is its always months behind. I read in last months I think it was a review of 32 inch lcd's and they were reviewing models that have been superceded by most manufacturers.

The toshiba has bad RGB banding on some screens which may put you off depending on your inputs. Also I think it looks well out of date and cheap.

Was surprised the new samsung N got a slagging though 3 out of 5.

Personal choice try before you buy.
