Best headset for around 70 bar

Im posting here due to sound city being dead, theres no help at all there im afraid.

So ive had the gamescom 780s and the corsair 1500s but they were really crap.

ive ordered the razer kraken pros but they are not 7.1 and I may return them.

ive looked at some logitech ones but read nothing but bad things.

what would you guys recommend?
 
They have constant static even when nothing is playing.

But its in the background even when something is playing and the mic on games that have chat causes even more noise even if set on push chat!

By far the worst headset I have owned.
 
Are you sure its the headset thats the issue ? Reason I ask is I bought some Roccat Kave's back in September and ended up getting an rma raised for them due to static whine, the noise grew considerably louder whenever I moved the mouse. So I got some Razer Cacherias instead.....still got the same issue and it makes no difference if I use either onboard or my soundcard.

Did a bit of a google and apparently it can be an issue with my motherboard, Z68XP-UD3, bad grounding iirc. I can only presume that my cheap and cheerful previous headphones didnt have the range to make the noise audible. What motherboard are you using ? Might be a similiar problem.

P.S. I agree with the soundcity comment too, I asked about my issue in there and got zero replies.
 
Yeah its defo the headset ive had a few I the last few weeks and none had this corsair problem.

Yeah if you turn the settings up the static gets louder its retarded for a set that cost this much, the gamescom 780 were only 37 quid and had better sound quality but they hurt my head too much.

ill report back on the razors see how they come. It seems all mid range sets suck im afraid :/ not all by quality but by comfort which is just as important.
