Best headset?

Yes, don't get me wrong its a nice headset, looks the biz and its really comfortable but I found the sound just lacked something, I couldn't put my finger on it. Positional audio was great but overall depth seemed off to me, everybody is different though

Those batteries will be fine and dandy. Yeah, I just wanted the convenience and being picky about sound and usually pretty wary of wireless audio, I couldn't fault the quality.

Yeh I have the wireless mixamp, the sound is spot on, no issues what-so-ever.

Thanks for all of the responses. It's sounding like quite a mix of views, which you would expect.

The PC 360 is £150 I believe? And the wireless mixamp is £100. Can't decide if it is worth the extra £50 or not! If I was to go with the wireless system.

Battery for Astro Gaming MixAmp 5.8 RX 212-M03XAG-0000 3.7V 1700mAh

There is a UK based site that sells Astro gear but I can't link for fear of bannishment.

Almost all the people I speak to about the headset say that the bass boost isn't really worth it. So I think I am looking at wired again. The wireless ones would cost me at least £25 more. So not sure its worth it when I don't really need it!

Getting them from the official UK dealER the difference is £7.

I did mean to say offical UK dealer, not deal. If you have a google for a green citrus fruit and the numbers of degrees in a full rotation, you should find them.
