Best hi-def lcd for under 1k?

New plasma's don't screen burn, they may screen delay, but not burn and it doesn't last long anyway.

I can highly recommend the JVC LT-32DS6BJ 32" LCD Panel.

Owning one myself.

The picture through HDMI is astounding.

Integrated Freeview picture is decent & also a decnet picture through Cable.

Looks fantastic even when it's switched off.

You can get it online for under a grand.

You cant get a plasma under 37" anyway these days so 26"-32" must be LCD or else it's old non-high def stock.

take a look at the Hyundai Imagequest Q321 aswlel, im hearing very good things about this set.

be being in the same position as the original poster, im still deciding which one to get.

I wanted the tosh 32WLT58 cos it has 2 HDMI sockets but it doesnt have Picture in Picture

the LX3R is purely a cosmetic update, and possibly new speakers if the upgrade from the LX1R to LX2R is anything to go by so i wouldn't count on a price drop for that reason.
