Or something along that title lol

Need a good intel core duo thats excellent for overclocking and can get up to similar speeds to Intel Core 2 DUO E6700 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.67GHz (1066FSB), if not better then close to?

I will be using air cooling rather than water.

Plus as well as this, i will need a good motherboard and memory to go with this. IIRC, im sure i read a lot of people were using g.skill memory?

Please help, thanks

ok so the general consensus state 6300 is worth the o/c for the price right? I can easily o/c that past a stock speed of a 6700?

from reading other replies, whats the deal with the cache on the 6600, is that worth it or not?

not sure on these codes on the m/board recommendations, what is good? also on memory, whats best for o/c with? without going stupid on the o/c

all i be using it for mainly is photoshop and lightroom work, occasional games/films, but rare

ok so i will set my heart on the 6300

and what would be a good ram/mboard combo? is it easy to overclock ram?

just stick to geil/ocz? i read somewhere that g.skill is good or stay away? i dont want to spend too much, trying to keep costs to under 500 just for these 3 items.

Oh yeah, with o/c the cpu, is that with standard heatsink/fan? im thinking of using my zalman 9500, hope that will work fine!
