Best internal wiper

I think Dr Who knows this, I certainly know it. Just being lazy with his language (like I would normally) I'm sure :)

Not quite lazy, I don't have a warm tap, I only have a Hot and Cold tap....

I distinguish between hot tap water and hot kettle water.

Been doing it 30 years and never cracked a windscreen yet as most hot taps will put enough cold in the bottle first before the hot water arrives at the tap.

Yes I realise kettle water or very hot water on a very very cold day can crack a screen.

Just done mine, microfiber cloth on a slightly condensated window to take the muck off then a fresh microfiber cloth with a smidge of washing up liquid.

Not cleaned the inside of the windows for some time so the result is very pleasing!

Nope, if tepid it won't melt the inside as well which is the point of this thread right?

Simples really.

It works wonders.

However, my Ford has a heated windscreen so never needed to use water. The heated windscreen is a stroke of genius. Unfortunately Fords patent is up soon so you can expect it to appear in other vehicles.

They are great but still leaves the others to clear :)

Of course it will. Very quickly the glass will warm to melt both sides

Tepid water is fine for outside only but doesn't clear the inside as well. Needs to be about 50 degrees C.

Hot tap water is typically 66 degrees C so a little cold at the start is usually bang on.

EDIT: You can do it with several lots of water, but not 1 load in my experience.
