Best ISO compression

Im trying to compress an ISO file ( 8,767,112 KB) in order to fit it ono a DL dvd-r. I have tried PowerISO compression, which trimmed about 10MB off, i have also tried WinRAR at the best compression whic only took 35MB off. Is there anything i can do took reduce this file to fit onto a DL dvd-r?

why not burn it AS an iso -burn the image to disc, probably fits fine


you can split archives using winrar too, could make multiple 4.3gb files
