Best keyboard for gaming keyboard??

Whats the best at the moment??

Not looking for gimmicks like the G15.

Just looking for something, Smart, Preferably Black, and with really decent backlighting as i game at night.

Any ideas??
 
Got a 1 and the way you can only press 2 keys annoys me.

Plus im buying a new comp soon so i fancy upgrading :D:D:D

Oh and also silence would be nice :D:D
 
Yeah I'm looking to replace my eclipse 1.
I'm considering the Speedlink Ultra but just need find out if the more than 3 key thing is ok with it.
 
In my personal experience i Must say the Speedlink Ultra Ally jobby.
Flush laptop style keys so your fingers don't get caught during mad thrashing sessions. Good overall weight with grips it Never moves. Hard wearing to the point of taking the ****. I have massive hands & play BF2 like Dougy plays Source & it still rocks on & that is after around 2000 hours of BF2 rage.

Oc stopped selling them a while ago though, Campaign to bring them back to Oc starts Here :p
 
Meh, I need a replacement keyboard. Looking for something that'll match my original G7. Wireless, if possible? Any suggestions?
 
Malc are the arrow keys good for gaming without the "more than 2 keys pressed at same time" issue some have?
 
Speedlink = No gay backlighting :p

Never had a pressed to many keys issue mate although i am a W.A.S.D. user.

thinking about it i think the next model up had backlight but my head memory is Not to be trusted to be honest.

I will Sir. I will be dropping into BF2 for some killing later so will post back my findings.

Seems the G11 is the same minus the screen.
 
Did some CS:S testing on my eclipse 1 for you with some strange results.

If I hold down up and left, I can't use another other keys (jump, show score etc).
If I use another other cursor key combo (down + left etc). I can press as many extra keys I like and they will take effect. For example I could run diagonally backwards, jumping while showing my score.
