Best keyboard mouse and multi-remote for HTPC setup

I need some form of wireless keyboard/mouse combo to control my HTPC. Also I need a multi-remote as I am getting tired of juggling a: windows media remote, a remote for the telly and for the sound system etc.

Any suggestions please?

I use the viewsonic keyboard/mouse combo for my htpc. Just like a laptop keyboard and mouse.

I have seen that. It looks pretty good. How long do the batteries last please.

Also any suggestions regarding a remote?

Try the harmony 525 for a remote

I'd have a look at the Philips SRM7500 as well.

As for keyboard/mouse maybe look at the Logitech DiNovo Edge.

I was thinking of the new DiNovo mini. The edge looks a little large. Has anyone used the DiNova mini?

Not used one myself but seem some impressive demonstrations. Looks very slick as well

I finally changed them for the fist time last week. The original batteries had been in since January and they weren't the best brand either. The keyboard sends itself to sleep after not being used for a certain amount of time which helps.

I was wondering if the fold over lid was scratch resistant? If not, I could imagine it looking like a skating ring after a while.

I use the keysonic laptop style keyboard with integrated touchpad. £25 i think it was. No drivers or anything required, and all the things like tap to click, scroll region, and tap then drag all work out of the box on Linux, OS X and windows alike.
