Just about to start to get back into linux again. Hopefully with the raspberry pi when it arrives.
However we have a few old machines laying around and I was going to experiment with turning them into a crude security camera set up.
So just connect a web cam and then get them to take a picture every minute or so and upload it to a website.
From my understanding most of this is done with python? Does it matter then which distro i use on the PC?
