Just finished fitting mine.

Havn't tried it yet tbh - not got a case to put it in. The general opinion is that the EK block is the best block for cooling as it isn't as restrictive in flow design as the DD and inno blocks. Guess I'll find out when my case finally arrives. I'll report back. The finish on the product is amazing though tbh very well machined.

The EK block sure is a nice peice of kit, especially when you take into consideration a GPU only block and the amount of ram sinks and other small sinks for the VRM's.

So it's not as if it costs anything extra :)

You its an odd 30-40 quid cheaper than DD 880 block. I am actually considering to get one, heard nothing but good things about its performance.

I saw these in stock just now for £48.95, almost half the price of the DD one. Let us know what temps you het when you are up and running.

Don't let the price fool ya, this is far from a budget block. The blocks are made in Slovenia so the overheads Eddy charges are very low and hence a bargain price. The quality is also much better than any block I have seen and if various other forums are anything to go by it also outperforms DD/Inno/aquacool etc. The EK blocks are in high demand atm hence a bit of a rarity - esp the acrylic top ones :)

Most folk would watercool there cpu aswell tbh if you are going to the hassle of cooling the gpu why not the cpu?

Oh i know they're not a budget block. I have heard nothing but good things about these and will be getting one myself when i finally (grrrrr  ) get my C2D rig up and running.

Would be better if it were in a lian-li so you could actually see it when fitted. Almost seems a shame to use it now lol.
