My GF is finally looking to get her own phone that works over here. She wants an iPhone 5 and buying it outright and adding a sim only card is going to be the cheapest way (she can claim VAT back on the phone

What are the best deals out there at the moment, she just needs a few mins and texts and a reasonable amount of data. Either year contract or rolling monthly. Quidco can also be factored in.
The giffgaff £10 deal looks the best at the moment, however do they do nano sims? I'd like to swear clear of iPhone tariffs because they always seem to be more expensive, even on sim only, but is getting a nano sim going to force us onto one?
