Best Manufacture

Hi

Can anyone tell me what the best manufacturers of hard drives is? Maybe 2 or 3 so i can take a look and make my decision before buying.

Seagate, Western Digital, Hitachi
(in that order i think)

agreed, but in addition, the samsung drives are also worth a shout too.

Seagate, Western Digital, Hitachi and I agree, Samsung Spinpoints are pretty darn good too

Seagate has another advantage over the others - they offer a 5-Year Warranty. No other HDD manufacturer offers this to my knowledge.

Western Digital Raptors and Raid Edition drives all have 5 year warranties too.
