Best Mechanical Keyboard for £100 (or less)

Just throwing out there a mechanical board which reviews highly, downside is its only available in an ansi layout but in all honesty ansi layouts aren't that bad really.

Keyboard called the magic force 68, it's a compact 68key board. Comes in a variety of switches. Go for gaterons if getting this board. But the keyboard itself can be had for £30 delivered in all manner of switch colours.

I have a Corsair K95 and a Coolermaster Quickfire TK, I also have an old £29 keyboard on my old rig, for me there is no difference between the keyboards for gaming, mechanical keyboards offer nothing other than feel of keys for me. Next time I buy a keyboard I won't buy mechanical.

couldn't have put it better myself. Biggest waste of money ever mechanical keyboards, had them all literally 0 difference.

I am also looking at getting the Logitech G610 Orion Brown so would be interested to know what you think of it once you have had it for a bit.

just got steelseries m400, bit difficult to find online but I got it from a high street store.

uses steelseries QS1 switches, I find them similar to reds so should be ideal for gaming.

Cherry Red and Brown are a good choice, but you should really try some out if you can. Some high-street stores have them out so you can at least have a little go.

I love Cherry Black and have the Steelseries 6Gv2 at home and at work.

is there any benefit to the Cherry "silent" switches? The 2 things that put me off mech are price and noise..

Sorry to come late to the party, we have all the switch types available to test in our HQ if you wanted to make the trip, and you can buy the keyboard while your here and try out VR. Bring the family make a day of it XD

Think I would miss the numberpad too much if I went for a K65!

Decided to go for the G610 though, having not used a mech board before I'm hoping I will get on with the cherry brown keys
