best method?

I need to create a diagram in something, to show the way you navigate and use a website - like a flow chart with boxes and arrows - but the usual software culprits aren't too good.

anyone seen anything that's suitable for the job? that will help me layout it out nicely etc?

Visio is pretty good for that kind of thing.
It also doubles as a handy and easy to use office / home furniture planner type thing.

Second vote for Visio. In addition to the above, it produces very clear and clean results!

In the past I have used a free bit of software called Brainbox, it was a very simple bit of software for producing flow diagrams and mind maps etc. Sadly, having just looked for it, it has been discontinued. I do have it some where on my computer and could probably zip it up and email it.

Another piece of similar software I have used was called Emindmaps, I've not looked it up yet as I only just remembered it but it might be worth a look.

Althernatively, looking up mind mapping on google might give you some decent results...

which looks like it might be pretty good.
