Hi,

I'm after a mini fridge mainly for beer (will be in a bedroom) and looking for some advice on any good ones. The only fridge I've found so far which looks suitable is one of those Husky 50L jobs which I've managed to find on a website for £90. The only downside it seems is a review saying it might be a bit noisey for a room where you sleep in.

If anyone any experiene on the matter I'd be grateful :) wouldn't want to go over £100.

Thanks,
Joe

Tis for the overflow :p But it's a good point about just turning it off at night, think I'll go for a Guinness branded Husky, looks pretty nice too.

All the branded mini beer fridges will be loud. Either get a normal fridge. or a 5litre keg cooler. Or expect to pay a lot more for a proper front glass quite fridge.

Don't get fridges confused with coolers.

The coolers (which often claim to be 'fridges') just use a fan, hence the hum. With a proper mini-fridge the noise shouldn't be an issue.

Don't all fridges have a compressor? Which will be a lot louder than than a fan.

Get ones of these and use it when you need it:

I could really go for a refreshing can of cok light right about now. :D

Don't perform any rapid vertical movements on it or it may explode in your face.

I've got one of the mini-cooler (6 regular cans capacity) fridges and the manual (when I read it many moons ago) said that it should NOT be left switched on 24/7.
