Best mobo with onboard graphics

The only one ive seen recently even mentioning is J&W's AMD 780 motherboard, which scored 1950ish 3d Mark 06, clearly you want intel, mhmmm intel extreme graphics. I'll have a look for you while im bored cooking a roast. :)

Depends, the x3100 GMA is like... terrible for any 3D. I'm assuming 2D is the only need for it, in that case you could get a 8400 easily, or the ATI 36xx series, even the ATI 34xx, or the older 24xx. Any will do.

Quick question, which CPU is going into it, and how much OC'ing do you wish to do, because you could get away with a old P965 based motherboard if its an old intel chip, or you dont wanna overclock heavily.

Ok been doing a fair bit of looking, seems your options are limited to a NVIDIA 7050/7100 on the i610/630i or the NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI MCP. On the intel side of the coin you've got the G Series of motherboards, G31/33/35, all providing onboard VGA. Both types are socket 775. Enjoy.

Edit, Agreed with above poster, the 7100 from nvidia is probably your best choice.

That too is a good option, like I was saying, depending on the CPU. A good intel cpu, get the Gigabyte G33, got a older CPU, the nvidia one would be more useful.
