best monitor for gaming

hi all i just upgraded my video cards to a evga 780ti classy acx. and was wondering what would be the best monitor in mind. i was thinking of geting a 144hz one what do you think. was thinking of geting the asus g sync one thanks to any replys you give me

Okay so if your in a hurry,I would go for the Asus 144hz monitor,If not i'd wait till about April.

As Asus are bringing out a 1MS 144hz 1440P monitor that is about £550-£600 i think.

It also has Gsnyc built in so you take full advantage of that seen as you have the same card as me.

I'm personally buying that new monitor,I have a 120hz monitor atm and i'm super excited for it.

will i get much of a perfomace gain if i used the Asus ROG Swift PG278Q on both my xbox one and ps4 cus if so i may order 2. hope someone can help me with that question

im useing a LG 47LM860v for both xbox one and ps4

You can't connect them up because the monitor needs to use DisplayPort. It is a potentially excellent PC gaming monitor, but it's not for consoles at all.
