best monitor for gtx1080 or over clock a lg34um69

will be upgrading from a 780ti to a 1080 next week.

I currently run a ultra wide 34" 1080 @ 75 Hz could possibly overclock closer to 100hz the model is a lg34um69

Thinking i could possibly go to 1440p and 144hz on say a 32" monitor such ashttps://www.overclockers.co.uk/benq-ex3203r-32-2560x1440-va-144hz-hdr-freesync-curved-widescreen-led-monitor-black-mo-12t-bq.html ?

would i be able to maximise this monitor with a gtx 1080?

A 1080 @ 1440p/144hz is great, can push decent FPS on most games, 100+ with slightly lowered settings.

Though the monitor above is freesync and not gsync.

This one can be had for £450 shopping around.

will i really notice the G snyc for the extra money?

Would like to go with 30+ size if possible too

Not sure I would be without gsync/freesync now.

However, you could get a Vega 64 instead of a 1080(which are comparable and often quicker) which are on offer at the moment with free games too plus the screen you have linked in the OP.

unfortunately ive bought a 1080 already off ebay. did find the dell you recommended on a rainforest named site for £360
