Best monitor/GFX combo?

Hey all, looking for some advice, got a budget of about £400 maybe £500.

I figure its about time to upgrade my old 4870 but I'm getting a bit tired of my old 1280x1024 monitor so would like to upgrade that as well.

Essentially I'm looking for the best priced GFX monitor combo that can run resolutions of at least 1800x1080 though Ideally a little bigger, primarily for gaming.

I would say dont skimp on the monitor as you will have ti for very long time.
