Not sure how Bebe can be in worst yet, he was never going to be a player for this season. It's too early to say if anything will happen with him.

And how can Chamakh be a best but Balotelli be a worstr

That's an interesting list :o

And Shami, Bebe can definitely be on the 'worst' list. He's got to be the worst player I've ever seen in a Utd shirt.

Chamakh's a strange one though. I'd have certainly had him on my worst list. The guy's ****.

edit: You can add Joe Cole, Poulsen, Brad Jones and Jovanovic to the worst list too.

I wouldn't have Dzeko on the worst list either.

He's hugely expensive yet done next to nothing, Balotelli, aside from pure entertainment, has actually got a very decent number of goals vs starts.

Gudjohnson is expensive, barely plays and has been rubbish for 3 seasons, no idea why people buy him.

Torres, 1 goal, 50mil not good, Joe Cole huge wages instead of transfer fee, consistantly injured and totally awful when he's played.

Chamakh is poo but he got goals with his "new club form", no way someone with 10+ goals in a free transfer could be in the worst transfer list but shouldn't be in the best either.

WAit, I assumed the link was to an list published somewhere, its just a list of transfers. Is this a list you came up with? In which case that explains it, random estimates of form end up with rubbish list, makes sense.

For the record Balotelli has just over 10 games played(in minutes just over 900 minutes), 6 goals and 1 assist.

Lehmann is worst? The only game I even remember Lehmann playing was the Blackpool one and he made some crucial saves that kept us in the game and the title race.

Koscielny has made some errors but you could hardly say he was one of the worst signings of the season. Squillaci has been far worse for example.

Darren Bent is most potential? He should be in the best list. Thread fails. :/

Joe Cole i'd say worst.

Hernandez best, Smalling most potential /unitedbias.

Without the Utd bias I'd still go Hernandez due to his goal tally for a first season, and a bargain price.

Potential I'd add in Luiz as well, possibly Suarez.

After yesterday surely Foster has to be in "worst" lol!!!

Whether you like him as a player or not - Im not sure how Y.Toure can be classified in any of them simply from being sooooo expensive (decent player undoubtedly, but the cost and his age - ie known quantity - takes him out of the Best list for me). V de Vart's injuries have taken him out of the "best" for me - and his lack of pace in the last Madrid game, makes him a good value signing but not under "best".

Luiz
D.Silva
Very good game changers (but then for £24m + each, they really should be lol - if my memory is correct)

Chris Smalling and Chicharito I watch most weeks and both are easily bargains of the century. CS is probably better than majority of 1st choice EPL centre half's, and is probably worth 50% more than what Utd paid. Chicharito is a complete and utter surprise - just wish the linesmen werent so often caught out by his speed off the last defender. Would anyone balk at a £20m-£25m fee already (not that he will be sold for a long time to come)

Chris Smalling is undoubtedly one of the best signings, you have to give what ever credit you can to the scout that most likely put a huge amount of his reputation on the line in recommending him.
Hernadez is a cracker as well.

No city signing can be considered "the best signing" they are all overpriced, on massive wages and have under performed for a huge chunk of the season.

Carroll will have to go on to become one of the Prems all time top goal scorers with that price tag to be considered a decent signing.
Which he wont.

Van Der Vart, how many games has he played again?

Mauro Boselli for sure

On 29 June 2010, Boselli signed a four-year deal with Wigan Athletic for an undisclosed fee,[3] believed to be around £6.5 million.[4] He made his debut in the opening game of the Premier League season against Blackpool,[5] and scored his first competitive goal for the club against Swansea City in the League Cup on 26 October 2010.[6] However, following his first goal for the club, Boselli has found settling into the English Premier League difficult.

8 games 1 goal

This is the same VdV that had a good couple of games in the PL and then went missing, even Spurs fans were moaning about his form before the Arsenal game.

But you know what, that Fergie missed a trick with him !!!!!

them lists are b******s

how can lehmann be worst when he has only played one game and be it a game arsenal won against blackpool.

also koscielny has not exactly been bad ,he has made mistakes but its his first season and arsenal have not conceded that many goals over the season

Hernandez has to be the best, injury free, cheap and arguably the best poacher in the world, or he will be soon.

VdV is decent, but he's older, inconsistent and injury prone.

He's still managed 14 goals in his first season here, how many midfielders do we have that have managed that :p In fact Gibson, Carrick, Fletcher, Anderson, Giggs and Scholes probably don't have that amount between them!

Peter Odemwingie? from West Brom has been fantastic this year. Scored about 12 goals and quite a few assists.
Great return for something like 2m and playing at West Brom not a top team like utd, chelsea, city etc

Too early to say at the moment tbh, in many ways it reminds me of Alan Shearer. Shearer had a very average goal ratio (1 goal every 5 games), yet he was signed (oddly enough by Dalglish) for a then british record and then went on to become what is considered one of the leagues top goal scorers. At this stage I am not saying that Carroll will or wont, but I am certainly not going to dismiss either possibility.

Obviously a red there....

Jermaine Beckford - Free Transfer and has scored 9 goals in the PL this season.
Peter Odemwingie - WBA's top goalscorer in PL now, looks pretty immense!

Marouane Chamakh?????

You've got to be kidding me..

We don't have to shoehorn one of those into the side every weekend.
