best mp3 player for sound quality

Most people ive read about doing an RMA direct to Iriver have had a replacement within 7 days. It took a month for mine, but i went through OcUK.

Is smashed the screen on mine whilst it was in the protective case and they gave me an RMA! Had to send it to California but got a complete replacement 7 days later  :).

Replacement time is becides the point.
The iPod has most of the market, so obviously the amount of failures would be higher than players with a smaller market share.
To advise people to avoid buying them, or avoiding them yourselves for the same reason is daft.

RMA times were the last thing on my mind to be honest, as really the thing should be working anyways. BUying one thing over the other because its a faster RMA is a stupid idea IMO.

You need to listen to more mp3 players then ;)

I have had loads of mp3 players, but since my Ipod Nano, I bought an Ipod Video, and thats the best I have heard so far...

The Zen has been confined to the top drawer...

But the ipods do scratch very easily, far more easily than my SPV phone screen, seems the plastic is very soft.... Make sure u get a screen protector from day 1...

Mine scuffed inserting it into a silicon skin on day 1!!!!!

:D

Ditto here. :p
I got a Marware Sportsuit basic, and found that after 3 removes/inserts of it into the case, that there were a series of scratches on either sides of the screen!.
It almost never comes out of its case, and i didnt buy it for its look at the end of the day, so im not too concerned. :)
