Best network for freebies...

Please excuse me as I'm not well-informed about phones and the networks. I'm currently with Orange, but is it me or are they the worst network for bonus top-ups and free messages? Would anyone mind suggesting another network. I find myself sending lots of SMS messages these days and thus spending more than I'd like to be with Orange.

the more you top up a month, the more texts you get

Sounds very good. My phone is currently locked on Orange, how do I go about unlocking it? Will that little market stall suffice?

Im on orange pas as you go!! If I top up by a tenner I get 300 txts free, if £15 I get 500 txts free and if I top up by £30 I get 1000 txts free.

Really? This only works if you're sending to other Orange customers, doesn't it?

Exactly the same thing with 02. Both work for all networks

Orange do this, just ring em up - sounds like your on old taffic tbh.

Also orange have cheaper calls (15p a minute, any time any network) So its actually a better deal.

Orange is pretty good... I got £9 yesterday for loyalty or something? And I got £7 and £9 in the past... Also I've been able to text even though I haven't topped up?

Seems like a good deal to me... I need to order myself a new contract now though.

you get a pay-as-you-go overdraft, so you can go over a little for a few days until you next top up

oh... theres also o2's borrow a pound... i've been told you can borrow a quid from them by txting them for it... i think thats great if u run out of credits.
