I'm looking for the best Nvidia card that will fit in a Sugo SG05B that is very quiet. I have about £150 to spend.

Will be used for HTPC duties and Gaming at 1080p, I'm migrating a Gigabyte 460 768mb to my son so will need a replacement ASAP.

Thanks

You need a card that is 9" maximum and can be dual slot although there will be cooling issues. The PSU can deliver 300W.

It will be a GTX 550 I think. (And that's pushing the limits)

An ATI HD 6850 may be a better choice if it doesn't absolutely have to be NVIDIA, make sure to check sizing.

I have a 450w PSU and just read another thread where someone as used a Gigabyte 560Ti which looks very tempting :)

Oh they up:eek:graded the PSU's in that case did they?

There's 2 versions of the SG05, I have the SG05-450W which is the same as the 300w accept for better PSU and the inside of the case is black to, costs £25 more but worth it imo :)

Decided to go for the Gigabyte 560Ti OC at around £170. Did originaly order a Gigabyte GTX 460 1GB over the weekend from OcUK for delivery tomorrow but just checked my order status and it says "In our warehouse queue" unfortunately it looks like it went out of stock so I cancelled the order via a webnote. Hope this works as I've never cancelled an order before

Just a quick update, I received my Gigabyte 560Ti OC which was the same size and just as quiet (near silent) as the Gigabyte 460 768mb. Been playing Dirt 2 where i'm getting an extra 20fps over the 460 so i'm very happy :)
