Well, if you like 3DMark, the 8800 GT is almost as fast as the 4850. However, if like the rest of us you purchase your video cards to, heaven forbid, play games on, then the 4850 is better, mostly due to the fact that it's much faster with higher image quality settings (Antialiasing and the like).

yes excellent m8, running sweet as in my 13yr old son's system
but I'm sure he wont be needing a 4850 just yet to play Sims2...lol

No it isn't, i said the 8800 GT for £100 in another thread, caused uproar it did (as you would know by being one of the posters in there).
