Well i'm in need of a new

Motherboard
CPU
RAM

I have HDD and GFX card and PSU (OZC 650W) and a decent case.

The cheaper the better but my prefered CPU would be 2500k unless you guys think there's better CPU's out there i would also want to overclock.

Thanks

amd is cheaper than intel still, but most here with also say the i5 is quicker, so its a judgement call either way depending on budget, i've had both and built both, and equally happy either way.

are you happy to build yourself and overclock it?

i'll let others give there opinion.

I prefer Intel so would be an Intel CPU, Yes i'm happy to build it myself as a little project and i will be overclocking :)

i5 3570K seems to be the best per cost / speed atm, good overclocking headroom paired with a half decent m/b

i don't overclock myself, have bought pre done stuff, then again i only play games

i've just ordered the krypton z77 overdrive bundle from here, i7 2700k with a asus p8z77-v lx2 m/b and team group elite 16gb ram kit and a adata pro sp900 256gb ssd

so also like intel atm but have order last week a AMD Bulldozer FX-4 Quad Core 4130 Black Edition 3.80GHz full system for a m8, and was very happy with that tbh
