Best P2P Program?

uTorrent for torrents.

I've been giving UseNeXT a go recently - maxes out my connection instantly (way higher than uTorrent) and doesn't slow everything down to a crawl. Other people have said I should give GigaNews a look so I'll probably see what that's like next. :)

used to use limewire, not sure what its like any more

Phex is a pretty good alternative to the many different version's of limewire, completely different source code so very little chance of it java-crashing and killing itself.

EDIT: links okay on here?

Private torrent sites are better than free newsgroups imo.
Free ISP newsgroup servers suck kind of, reaching avg of 400kb/sec, while a good private torrent site can easely get you to dl @ 1.2 mb/sec or more.

And pay for newsgroups? haha no way, I aint paying. Free is always > than payed for.

uTorrent, yep another vote for it here.

However, since I started using a Premium Rapidshare account, I've never touched uTorrent for months now.

Dunno why it took me so long to make the switch to RS!!!. :p

If you want to pay for a RS account, pay for Usenet binary access instead (newsgroups). Well worth it :)
