Best part of a game.

It seems the best part of a game for me lately is the start , the expectation of the graphics / gameplay etc.
I think thats why i have so many games but rarely complete them.
Anyway thought i just throw that in

Story for me, gameplay a close second. With graphics I care more about the style, not how cutting-edge it looks as I play 'dated' but greatly stylish games more often than modern system-pushers. The former tend to have uniquely timeless 'personality', which I can't say as much for current games (with some exceptions of course).

i like to finish a game on Fridays so you can spend all day on Saturday getting us to a new game.
Best part of the game is at the end knowing you have completed it and when you start missing or dreaming about it you know it was a good one

Best of part of the game is the story, it's why I like the Final Fantasy games. The storylines are just beyond exceptional especially FF 10.

Agree

FF10 had awesome storyline with character dialogues and tidus/auron interaction is amazing with personalities akin to day and night :cool:

Great story.

Graphics dont do much for me really. Other than the initial "hmm they did a good job there", it won't grasp me if the story doesn't.

Game play, mechanics and the less major blunders (imo) the better. Balance is usually a helpful addition towards a more optimum gaming experience.

Has to be the immersion for me, S.T.A.L.K.E.R done this admirably. Just the way the zone was portrayed carried a huge sense of emotions with it. As much as I love gaming, I don’t think ive got as engrossed in a game since.
