You cn just feel the buzz around the Rfactor community daily. We all get hyped about a new mod or track rush out and get it then start setting times and hosting races. Of course this leads to a quality tight community that is continually buzzing about there latest ride or time.

I agree, although without SCC, PTC or a current F1 mod availible I do still play F1C a lot.

BTW, sorry to hear your sad news today.

You should wait until the patch is out on Friday and give the demo a whirl, it might convince you to part with £24 :)
 
Need for Speed: Porsche 2000

OK, you can stop sniggering at the back now. It's not a match for PGR3 but it's an outstanding racer with a real atmosphere and sense of class. You get a real feel of progression as you work your way through the ages experiencing the Evolution of Porsche. Racing is fun, it's not a simulation by any means, but it's not a pure arcade racer either - a persistent damage model between races keeps things interesting and the driving model just feels 'right'.

It's approaching 6 years old now, but when I played through it again last year it certainly wasn't showing it's age - for me it is still one of the best racers around.
 
Live for Speed, especially now the BMW Sauber F1 car is out and some low speed grip problems have been resolved. Been on it since 4pm straight now :/ Only on here as my wrists/feet need a break.
