Best place for xmas tv guide?

It was always a highlight getting a Radio Times at Xmas, only time in the year we bothered. Loved looking to see what Xmas classics were on like Its a Wonderful Life, Santa Clause The Movie and Die Hard 2. Always had to check what time The Snowman was on.

Videoplus was a lie. Not once did it ever work for me lol.

I remember we had a vvr that had a big plastic sheet with barcodes on it that you had to scan to program it to record, great idea!

There's something christmassy about sitting with a red marker peen and going through the xmas TV guide magazine circling anything that looks cool... then fighting with siblings about which film to watch on BBC or ITV (pre-Ch4)

I'm agog people still do this but fair play. It was a wonder as a kid holding onto a "book" of 2 weeks worth of TV wonder spread across 4 channels. So many films to consume with the obligatory rewatch of Ben-Hur and El Cid Sunday matinees.

Being a kid was fun. Bah.

I think if we had channels free view back in 2002 or channels 1 to 5 back in 1997 maybe a magazine of channel movies would be needed but today there’s that much content just watch whatever comes on.

There’s literally millions and millions of content floating around now everywhere.
