Best place to buy a watch?

Hi guys,

I'm after a new watch, Got around £100 to spend.

Not looking for anything all singing and dancing, just to look nice and tell the time

I like the look of that, but cant find it anywhere on the net with a UK price.

I read another users post a while back and someone recommended a good site for watches, but i cant for the life of me find the thread or remeber what the website was called.

Any sites or recommendations would be great

I couldn't buy a watch on-line, I really need to try things on or I'm invariably disappointed.

Agreed, especially with a watch. Try finding a specific model, try it in a shop then search online

Very true, i think i'd use the site to get a taste for what im after, n then i'd take a trek into town to take a closer look before going ahead and buying off the net.

Any recomendations for watches similar to that, TimeX is a fairly reputable brand? not the best out their, but not the worst!

Try looking at the Seiko range. I have that over a Timex any day

Some pretty nice kinectic ones should be available

I like older Seiko watches, you could get a decent one for £100.

looks good with a z22 rubberstrap too

http://www.timefactors.com/seiko.htm take a look here, these watches are not imported by Seiko so they all have to be imported(by companies like timefactors) so you got the exclusivity

These are auto too not the normal quartz seiko import direct if looked after they will eventually be worth a bit more than you paid for them could be 30 years though
