Best place to live in the UK

Richmond (south east London) is up there.
You mean south west.. Richmond is very nice but it’s always very busy. Walking down the high street on a weekend is a form of torture. I always think somewhere like Barnes along the river is much nicer to actually live. It’s quieter, is a proper London village, has similar connections. If I was rich enough to want a big house in London suburbs it’s definitely where I’d choose. Together with the pied a terre in Clerkenwell and a big country house somewhere far, far away obviously :p

Yeh it can be a bit busy but im a city boy so find it a minor inconvenience. Only downside for me is the influx of Ted Lasso tourists lol. Barnes is really nice as well but personally prefer somewhre a bit more lively, richmond green/riverside in the summer is great, im sure that extends down to Barnes etc. Chiswick is lovely as well.
