You mean south west.. Richmond is very nice but it’s always very busy. Walking down the high street on a weekend is a form of torture. I always think somewhere like Barnes along the river is much nicer to actually live. It’s quieter, is a proper London village, has similar connections. If I was rich enough to want a big house in London suburbs it’s definitely where I’d choose. Together with the pied a terre in Clerkenwell and a big country house somewhere far, far away obviouslyRichmond (south east London) is up there.
